"It's ALIVE!" Some time ago, we inherited my wife's childhood home movie reels ... & her parents' Kodak M24 Instamatic Movie Camera, a model from the early 1970s. I didn't know how successful I would be at getting it to work, since two AA batteries had leaked acid into it eons ago. However, some gentle cleaning with distilled vinegar and cotton swabs was all it took. It easily roared back to life.
