We're one of the cruelest western nations by design. A former #Moscow, #Idaho maximum security inmate was on #Banfield, and said the beds on one side have a smelly toilet, and if you turn to lie on the opposite side, there is bright light shining on you. Multiple media outlets are now reporting that #GeneticGenealogy was used to solve the recent #IdahoMurders.

The suspect, 28yo #BryanKohberger , was continuously surveilled for several days before being arrested near his home town in Pennsylvania. (My guess is law enforcement was watching him to get a DNA sample w/o needing a warrant.)

#Kohberger was a PhD student, studying Criminology. (Imo, a smart student should know he'd leave #DNA at a crime scene.)
