The #kdrama #Kokdu feels so early 2010s but in a bad way. I went in thinking it could be a decent fantasy drama but it is so generic. And I usually don’t mind generic - I love tropes and stories-we-have-seen-a-lot when they are done with care. But somehow Kokdu makes everything feel so tired, like a cheap copy of much better shows.

Currently having it on as background entertainment but even that is too much somehow.
