Can anyone tell me anything about this doll?

I guess she is a kokeshi, but I've never seen one like her before.

I fell for her as soon as we met, and now she lives next to these Tomoko-Fuse designed origami.

She has a silver bow in her hair, tiny red nose and mouth, and strange, insectile patterns on her dress.

Currently, I don't know her name.

The Auntie Tanya kokeshi is kind of a work-in-progress. My friend has three nieces and is her generation’s keeper of the family’s cultural traditions. I modeled this in Nomad Sculpt, 3D printed in nylon resin and, painted by hand (obviously … I need some more practice). The dolls are about 75mm tall. Bottle cap for scale.

I gave her arms... since I was going through a couple of different emotions from && こけし

i should have documented both my mindset, music, and so on but sometimes its best not to. Sometimes it really does not matter to the viewer what it is an artist might be going through. Whether its good or not.

I collect kokeshi. Unlike most of my others, this one is not vintage but I love her egg shape. She is a Shiawase which means happiness made by Usaburo.

The New Leaf Journal - Replacing sondbar and configuring remote

1. I use my TCL Roku TV without internet
2. Optical audio on soundbar broke so needed replacement (we don't talk about HDMI ARC)
3. New soundbar works but universal remote stops working
4. See "without internet" for problem
5. Gets new universal remote
6. Controls TV (albeit none of the codes for TCL worked and I had to spend 20-30 minutes having the remote go through every possible code)
7. Gets remote to control soundbar power and mode
8. ...But not sound

I've been using computers for almost 20 years (started on Windows 95) although worked in IT and security only for 4 years (I think). Before that I was on the dark side: web marketing, ad tech... It's bad, never go there. ☠️

Currently, I'm working in Japan for a car maker 🚗 , trying to make sure car hacking isn't the "next big thing (tm)" ; on the side. I also lead group and work in very close relationship with our team. ㊙️

I actually joined cybersecurity because of my interest for privacy.

I wish I had more time to learn new skill like (I've got a Flipper Zero 🐬 I don't know how to use) and (RIP little robot vacuum cleaner, you left too soon 👼 ).

In my free time, I , I love and I collect (Japanese wooden dolls). It's getting out of hand, I have hundreds. I actually have a Excel sheet to track them. Is it too much? I also like 🦩

When the yen/dollar difference goes back to something reasonable I wish to buy a gaming computer. Oh well. 💸

Oh yeah speaking of yen, I live in Japan but I'm French. Also most of my toots will probably be in Japanese. Feel free to answer in English tho (and use the new translation feature!)
