@admin Three days ago my other #Instance, #TechLGBT, successfully migrated to the #GlitchSoc fork, & as a result my UX there has gone thru the roof [ie, it's ***wonderfully*** better than vanilla #Mastodon]. As such, each time now that i use *this*, my hitherto lovely #KolektivaSocial Instance, the UX is *figuratively* painful. #GlitchSoc has numerous nice bells & whistles, but *possibly* the single biggest "pain-point" now for me here in KolektivaSocial is the non-collapsed toot view, vs the control we have in GlitchSoc [see pic].

Not wanting to overtly flog a dead(?) horse, but the *other* lovely UX aspect in TechLGBT is that they added all my requested FOSS emojis 😉 whereas here unfortunately, tis still 🦗 🦗 🦗 [damn #FBI raid 😭].

**PS**: I wrote the above using #Markdown, which is another great feature in GlitchSoc. I know that my doing so was a waste of time here *atm*, but otoh all the Instances running GlitchSoc *will* see my formatting.

@Hydrojohn the inclusion of the LibreTranslate function was added by our local #kolektivaSocial admin team and works with Mastodon. If your @admin@mas.to sees a similar demand for accessibility and has the time/resources to do it they will have to implement that locally, afaik anyway. The alternate translation ability of DuckDuckGo and Google that I use requires copying/pasting the text into an input box in the search results page.
Neither way is perfect, but since my own grasp and execution of my native language is lacking at times, I give it a pass.

Yes, we passed the info to some of our esteemed fedizens at #kolektivaSocial that if they value their DMs, and saying no to their #dotCon algorithms, to think seriously about the fact that they're on a #CloudFlare instance.

Said that talking with admins may help, stating it may've been unintentional as many #ISPs can be lazy and automatically sacrifice clients to Cf.
