Completely agree. A perfect example. I can't believe I had to do a web search in order to be able to draw a straight line on GIMP. Nevertheless, I still think it's over generalizing to say "this is typical of Linux." As a counter example, I always install KolourPaint because, invariably every month, I will need to do something simple that takes me half an hour to find out how to do on GIMP, but takes me half a minute on KolourPaint. I get mad at Gimp, not all paint programs.

I would personally prevere #krita or #gimp. A simpler app is #KolourPaint.

I installed #Krita on my Xubuntu, plugged in my graphic tablet, which just worked with no problems. And even better: Pen pressure worked immediately too! 🤩

Also I've found #KolourPaint which is like the old MS Paint including the pixel airbrush the later MS Paint sadly didn't include. 😍💕

I'm in art program heaven.

Tho I do have to do a Krita tutorial before I can do anything beyond silly salamanders in there. x)
