Looks like #komf has added support for #comicvine which should make adding metadata to my #komga library much easier. Very excited to try it out, especialy as I had it in the back of my head that I might have tried adding it myself.

I finally finished the "add book to read list" feature for my #komga client write in #flutter and I decided to stick with the modal bottom sheet but it now has a limit for the horizontal space to look better in desktop

I’ve been using that NUC for about 7 years, serving as a media sever. This year I’ve have added #FreshRSS (and #Reeder in iOS), #Komga and #Homebridge. I’m thinking at this point I should add a reverse proxy so I can access some of this outside my house.

I kinda don’t want to deal with the increased security I’ll need if I decide to open it.

For now the only missing screen of my #komga #flutter client is the reading list, after that I think I could release these beta version to the public, but first I need to get a good app icon and some certs to sing the apk

For today, the #Day8 I started with the collection details screen, nothing fancy, just a simple screen with a grid view.

#funfact I didn't know what was the objective of collections in #Komga until now.

so... my #selfhosted #komga server is unavailable right know and I didn't realize that I require it to continue developing my #flutter client, so I got forced to create a way to use mocks, thankfully it was really easy because I had some examples and a good project architecture.
here is the MR with the mock feature and how the app looks like with it.

Tried out #Komga with #Podman yesterday, and overall it was extremely disappointing. It's *very* dependent on having one folder per series, and if you have a different file layout, you're in a world of hurt. Seems like a really poor design decision. ☹️

Wish I had some free time to devote to a new project, since it would be great if there was a decent #Plex-style #comics server out there.

Hmmm, #Komga's lack of flexibility on folder layouts makes it fairly unusable. #comics

Finally set-up #Komga on an extra #RaspberryPi4 with #Podman. Pretty simple, now to just wait for the import to finish. ⏲️ #comics
