I like the new design of the #Hyundai #KonaEV, but perhaps not in this color. I do wonder how much this color reduces your chance of an accident??? I will say this, even though I have a gray putty-colored car, it’s nice to see some peppy colors coming back. Subaru does the best colors, I think. #EV #ElectricVehicles

Today was the first time (since before buying my Kona) that I drove from Portland area, to Tacoma / Seattle area, and back all in the same day.

Honestly, this has me really hyped.

When I first picked that car up there were barely any L2 along the route, let alone fast chargers. Now there's dozens of DC fast chargers along the I5 corridor.

It legit makes me super happy that road tripping is getting increasingly viable in all electric vehicles, not just Teslas.

For those with #EV #RangeAnxiety in #ColdWeather I just drove my #KonaEV on an errand in 8 degrees F and my mileage was no different than in normal cold weather if I just used the seat heaters: 185 miles/80% charge.

When I put climate control on, mileage went down to 135 miles. It takes a LOT of power to run climate control. #DressWarmlySaveBattery

I test drove a #Hyundai #ioniq5 and a #konaEV and both were fantastic. If dealers weren't adding big markups on them, I might be ordering one today.

I also test drove a manual #Subaru #crosstrek and enjoyed that experience. Some dealers are now doing MSRP on the Crosstrek so that's more reasonable for me. Likely I'll be ordering a Crosstrek and it will be my last manual transition gas powered car 😢
