Koofr (cloud storage) now have built in "rclone crypt" support through their WebUI, and published the code on Github.

While I will continue to manage my data from rclone cli manually, it looks like a great security feature for end-users who prefer a web interface.

Zerknę sobie na niego, dzięki 🙂. #Filen też jest EU, prócz samej ideologii prywatności urzekła mnie w nim przejrzystość / prostota apek bez wodotrysków i możliwość udostępnienia plików za pośrednictwem linka zabezpieczonego hasłem dla ludzi którzy konta na nim nie posiadają, to mega praktyczne 🙂. No i apka na Linuxa + naprawdę przystępny cenowo ale to już detale 🙃

I like that you can use #WebDAV to connect different software and use #Koofr as backup. I'm using @joplinapp this way and that's how all my #writing stuff is synced between desktop and mobile app.

most other services don't support this, or it's paywalled.

other than that, it's an EU software company, I like that.

I like the sharing options supported, but they are not really unique compared to others.

here are a few of mine:

I'm using @joplinapp for copywriting and whenever I need to write something down when I'm on the go. the desktop and mobile apps can be synced with a backup server of your choice 👌

for cloud storage, I'm using a combo of #Koofr and #OneDrive. disclaimer: I work at the former ☺️

I like to use multiple browsers, so right now I'm cycling between #Firefox, @vivaldibrowser, and #Edge.

Go with #Koofr: the app is unfortunately not open source, but it has neither ads nor trackers.
Also, is perfectly compatible (through WebDAV) with @cryptomator and #Cyberduck, so your data as safe!

I loved #Tresorit, but a bit too expensive.
Liked #Nextcloud, but had some data loss (even if the support was great and recovered most of that).
Currently on #Koofr (through #Cyberduck and #Cryptomator).

Planning to probably use #Filen as soon as Koofr expires.
