I haven't looked it up yet, but based on what I'm hearing in my stories,* it seems like the words for BLOOD and RAIN are the same in Korean, and if so, that's metal as fuck. π€π»

Are you an undergrad with at least some #KoreanLanguage ability? This 3 week summer program about #Korea is free (except flight ticket etc). It'd be good experience, good on your resume, too. Why not apply? #AKS #νκ΅νμ€μμ°κ΅¬μ

There is no matching idiom in #KoreanLanguage for, "I wasn't born yesterday" I could find. So I had to look it up in English, find the dictionary translation in Korean, translate the Korean back into English, and then sit there with the most bland sentence in the world. Where is the punch?
BTW, most Korean writers when writing in English don't think about the Korean first, but I try to accomplish a feel of both and some of the quirks of both.

The character is called 'o-zingzing.' I thought they were little phalluses until it dawned on me that 'zing' in Korea is pronounced /jing/.
(μ€μ§μ΄ = /o-jing-eo = 'squid' π¦)
Bought em anyway. π
