FINALLY, At long last, nearly 8 years after the release of the original Alternate Revan Romances mod, and 6 years after the release of my REDUX version, Alternate Revan Romances REDUX has been updated, with a new Juhani Cameo add-on that will make Juhani actually appear in KotOR 2 if she is chosen as (female) Revan's love interest, with fully-voiced dialogue thanks to xVASynth, remedying KotOR 2's mistake of completely ignoring Juhani's existence once and for all!

Honestly, when it comes to comparing the two Knights of the Old Republic games, the only aspect of KotOR 1 I genuinely find preferable to KotOR 2 is that KotOR 1 actually has a same-gender romance option without mods in Juhani. Granted, Juhani’s romance is infamously buggy, but it is still possible to romance Juhani without mods.

It helps that I find Juhani as a character just as compelling as many of the KotOR 2 companions. In fact, Juhani is tied with Visas as my absolute favourite companions from both KotOR games.

Aside from the lack of same-gender romance options, I find KotOR 2 a better game than KotOR 1 in pretty much every other aspect: story, writing, characters, gameplay, etc.

KotOR 1 may be a more complete game, but even back when I played through both games for the first time without The Sith Lords Restored Content Mod, I still preferred KotOR 2 over KotOR 1.
