I do wish #Spotify would default ALBUM plays to track order regardless if you've previously been listening to a playlist on shuffle.

Nothing annoys me more than wanting to listen to an Album and it starting half way through !!

Shuffle is fine for playlists.

I've posted before on here about how much I love this ending, and particularly its sound design. Just a single wavering FM note held as you get to see some of the most detailed explosions of the era. Incredibly beautiful stuff, like a video game Koyaanisqatsi

Ca. 1990 habe ich als junger Bengel auf #3Sat den Film #Koyaanisqatsi gesehen, der meinen Blick auf die Welt und wie der Mensch seinen Lebensraum zerstört fundamental beeinflußt hat. Und damals war der Film schon 8 Jahre alt. Lieber #ÖRR, bitte wiederholt diesen Film öfter in Eurem Programm. Wenn nur jeder zweite Zuschauer ähnlich beeindruckt ist wie ich damals, haben wir vielleicht eine Chance, mehr Verständnis für den #Klimawandel zu erlangen.

I feel that the ending to R Type II is strikingly beautiful- having an escape sequence might be cliche, but the strange, otherworldly, atonal FM whine combined with the hyper-detailed spritework evoke distinct pathos into the sequence. I get real Koyaanisqatsi vibes from this lol

Höre gerade den Soundtrack zu #Koyaanisqatsi. Ein extrem gelungener Film, aber auch ohne die Bilder holt P. Glass mich jedesmal komplett ab.

Picked up a Christmas present to myself today: A second hand DVD player for €5 from someone local to replace ours which stopped working a few months back. That's enough. I don't want anything else.

Anyway, this let me watch a DVD of Koyaanisqatsi - a film which is just as stunning now as it was 40 years ago. It's worth watching at least annually to remind ourselves of our place within our society and our effect on the planet.
