Published my tiny funnel I use to refill #Kratky bottles. It's specifically sized to fit disposable straws I have, and also refill holes of inserts I made, but #FreeCAD source is available, as well as step.
It's modelled as a solid and hollowed by the slicer; #Cura has a handy Surface mode for that.

Can't be bothered documenting things recently but looking at plants growing is always good. Nice to be able to harvest enough leaves for a salad almost every day.

Meanwhile #Kratky #hydroponics happened. I use the most DIY system possible: bottles, 3d printed inserts that allow refilling, and where I didn't use inserts, there are pieces of disposable straw.
Growing on South side open balcony in 30+C is quite different from grow lights inside they use in the videos. Those plants drink a lot, and some liquid evaporates, so I need to refill a lot and designed and printed a tiny funnel to fit the straw (not pictured). #3dPrinting

First #hydroponic #strawberries. These have not been very successful, I think I missed the season. Sounds like they also prefer more oxygen in their hydroponic solution than the #Kratky bucket method provides - probably a #DWC system would be more appropriate. #gardening

I'm ametur dabbling in #Kratky hydroponics. I'm wanting to grow my houseplants without soil. So for testing purposes I've got a moth orchid, calico kittens, lupines (seeds), four o'clocks (seeds), and a sad verbena. I've also got coleus that I would like to move from soil to water.

Building a larger scale #hydroponics setup from the #aerogarden I've had for a few years. I’ve got an overhead grow light now, and next is the container situation.

Planning on starting with a simple #kratky setup. I don't really want lots of 5-gal buckets, so I'm keeping an eye out for re-use opportunities of containers around the house.

The tough bit may be substrate. I have a bunch of aerogarden pod things, but suggestions welcome for substrate I could put in my own #3dprinted holders!

I don't buy single portion items any more, but I make an exception for these chocolate puddings from Casino.Their containers are perfect match for the #IKEA #Växer system and can be used as a starter for #Kratky hydroponic vegetables before moving them out to larger containers.

I have to make some holes in them and plant some #celery and #kale in them.

[1/2] oh hey #Hydroponics friends! Happy to find you all. I've been growing via #Aerogarden and #Kratky for maybe 4 years. Gone through a few different setups, beat an aphid infestation last year, etc.

Now have my eye on a tower and a mini tower to add for a new setup come next Fall. It is absolutely killing me not to buy them right now, hahahaaaa.

Super easy and cheap option to start a single plant #Kratky #Hydroponic unit.
These small #MeshCups are perfect match for the 2L milk bottles in France. The same with 1L #bottles and many other juice sold in #France and in #Europe.

The 2L is perfect because it will have enough #water and #nutrients for a leafy vegetable like #lettuce or #kale to grow without the need to refill it

Just put it under #GrowLight or by the window.

I wonder if people would buy packs of #fertilizer in small packs for 20L #kratky
#hydroponics with instruction on how to use them.

I make them for my use & found it really time saving to prepare them in advance to just mix them with water when my plants are germinated & mature enough to be transferred to bucket.

I make different ones for #tomato, #pepper, #cucumber, #melon, #eggplant. each pack will be about 5 euros.
