Today’s unexpected parcel delivery contained nine more Consett Ore Wagons (with loads) to go along with the original nine Ore Wagons (without loads)
Probably the most suitable eighteen wagons for the Tyne Tebay Freight Line because they left Tyne Dock for Consett back in the day

KR Models have released livery details for their Bellerophon model. I quite like the NCB version.

Having already owning Packs A, B, & C of the #KRModels Consett Iron Ore Wagons - I have just discovered that Packs D, E, & F can be pre-ordered
It would be rude not to double my stock especially as Tyne Dock, where they left from towards Consett, is not far from home

Thanks - I was fortunate enough to see a fully laden one being moved from the blast furnaces to the nearby processing mill at Scunthorpe whilst on a brake van tour in September 2022 - but no photos allowed by the site owners. We also saw several other ones close up in the sidings dotted around the site
I will be keeping an eye out on the #KRModels website for the weathered DCC version to go alongside the Hunslet loco which is already on pre-order

New pictures from KR Model of the Scunthorpe Steel Works torpedo wagons.

I have the British Steel livered #KRModels Hunslet on pre-order and I quite fancy getting hold of their proposed DCC controlled torpedo wagons that rotate 180 degrees to add the steel works mini scene
I’m aiming for their Diesel Shunter driver experience that takes place two hours before or two hours after the main brake van tour - a suitable way to celebrate reaching a certain age milestone and (hopefully) partial retirement
