#Grænavatn (literally means Green Lake) is made of two craters that are over 6,000 years old which became water-filled. The deepest part of the #lake is about 45 meters deep. It is located in #Reykjanes peninsula, Southwest #Iceland, practically across the street from the #Krysuvik geothermal area. Great for a quick stop when exploring the area! It's a fairly small lake. You could probably walk around it in about half an hour (we didn't attempt it).
