#Starfield seems like a cash-grab just like #FO76 #fallout 76.

Some #gamer will eat it up, just like they eat up every other buggy cashgrab. Enjoyment is in the eye of the beholder.

I would turn to other games for any itch. To explore space, use #KSP or #SpaceEngine. For good combat there already exists #NMS or #EverSpace2 or Dreadnaught pvp etc. For good quests in space you're better off with a focused narrative like #MassEffect.

If you're going to deep space, bring a big antenna.

Just had a mission to Minmus

Collected bunch of delicious science points

On my way back to Kerbin, I made lots of burns to get the trajectory just right, so atmosphere will slow down the return capsule.

Decouple the lander segment. Final approach.

Entering atmo, heat shield starts to heat up.

It's on fire, as expected.

Then I see a gauge showing how there's too much heat on one part... Then another.

Then everything caught fire and rained down burning plasma.

Fun. :D

Kerbal Controller

The article "Kerbal Controller - the Basics" https://www.instructables.com/Kerbal-Controller-the-Basics/ introduced me to a small but awesome #SimPit community on Discord.

It's also of interest for people not into #KSP as it describes the basics for DIY controllers of any kind very well.

The control panel by used for demonstration has another bonus going: It's completely modular and can be 3D printed at home.
