Most of their label design make good good use of a contrasting-colored outer circle design and considers both the circle and the movement as it plays. Columbia House put out these sampler records for about 12 years beginning in 1968. I assume they took advantage of their already-existing licensing agreements and the success of K-Tel. #columbiahouse #ktel #vinylcollection

They really did cram the tracks in there like sardines – typical #vinyl album length at the time was generally not much more than 40 minutes. Not much appreciable signal below 100 Hz here.

Wretched as they may have been at times songs like these always put a smile on my face.
Spanish Flea is just the kind of thing that would go on a KTel album 😁
