Used the new #bike carrier for the first time this morning. So much easier to put the smaller, lighter kid bikes on the roof rack.

The #kuat carrier doesn’t bounce as well, unlike the old #thule hanging style one. That means I don’t have to constantly keeping my eyes on the rear view mirror.

After using a #Thule hanging style bike carrier for 7 years, I have upgraded to the tray bike carrier from #Kuat. It’s much heavier (2x) but some much sturdier and easier to put the bikes on. It doesn’t look like it will bounce and swing as much either. We will see.

This also means now the full size, adult bikes are on the bike carrier whilst the kids’ 24” bikes would be on the roof rack. Since they’re much lighter, they should be way easier to put on/off as well.
