L’idée nous (enfin peut-être à moi seulement…) trottait dans la tête depuis un moment: gravir la plus haute montagne de Suède, dont nous nous moquons facilement, nous qui vivons dans les Alpes, au pied de la presque plus haut

#Kungsleden. This is the view you have from Abiskojaurestugorna, first mountain huts complex you arrive to when you start your #trek from Abisko. Fantastic trek, spectacular views, great people! Do recommend! ... I've done it 4 times.
The name of the mountain is most likely Giron (1551 m).

I have plenty photos from #Kungsleden ... this one is from the first trek in 2017. The weather in September was amazing!

Waterfall on #Kungsleden trail, near Tjaktja mountain cabin. I've done northern part of the trail couple of times and I'll keep coming back as long as I have strength. This is one of the most amazing locations I've been to!

2020 sind wir auf dem südlichen Kungsleden unterwegs gewesen. Um den Großteil der Stechmücken zu vermeiden sind wir erst im September unterwegs gewesen. Aber September in Schweden bedeutet auch Schnee. Was wir am dritten Morgen in der Wildnis feststellen durften. Dennoch eine wunderschöne Wanderlandschaft.
