Welcome to December 18 in #kunstkiosk44's #Christmas calendar here #kristofferørum presents his #multiples "A Brownfield Monument" 21 copies of fragments found on the construction site where the artist-run exhibition space #Spanien19c used to be located in Aarhus. Fragments of demolished buildings and traces of past activities have been 3D scanned, using the kind of technology you can find in your smartphone, and then 3D printed in monochrome versions using a range of sustainable materials from terracotta to granite. @kristofferorum Kristoffer Ørum is an interdisciplinary visual artist based in Copenhagen, he has 2 art degrees from Fine art degrees Goldsmith College and The Royal Academy of Fine Art. He was a professor at the Funen Art Academy 2012-2015 and worked as an artistic researcher at Uncertain Archives, University of Copenhagen 2015-2018. His interdisciplinary practice revolves around the digital spheres and their influence on everyday life. He has published, performed and exhibited internationally since 2005.
