I have always admired since he became president in 1977. I met his daughter Amy when she and Abbie Hoffman came to in 1986 to protest CIA recruitment on campus. I met Jimmy when I was working in 🇯🇵 in 1992 and he came to visit , a Japanese zipper manufacturer that had set up a factory in when he was governor. I gave a brief speech as part of his welcome. I was so nervous and he was so kind. I wish I still had the photo taken of us.
