I have now ruled out effitask and focused on making qtodotxt2 more usable.

It was not easy to find and configure a dark theme that works well with it. I ended up on the variant "KvGnomeDark", which makes the entries with their multiple colours at least somewhat readable.

To configure that I had to set "Kvantum" in qt5ctl and then set "KvGnomeDark" in kvantummanager. Not great, nor obvious, that you need multiple programs to do that.

I just spent over an hour trying to figure out why the matcha themes in gtk and qt weren’t matching. Amazingly, it wasn’t my fault, for once. The kvantum version of matcha-dark-azul has the wrong window colours. Maybe I should file a bug report.

I have updated Simplewaita: more usability (see new tabs), much more compatibilty with 's (see instructions). theme also includes the tab update, and therefore now it is different from Simple theme, so it's better that you install the new one. As always, using symbolic links to the cloned repo is the easiest way to include updates!

No theme yet, but it might come at some point ;)
