Jeepneys are considered kings of the road but in many ways they are also kings of the mountains. Filipinos drive them through mountain ranges.

When I was working in Quezon Province, I rode a jeepney to traverse a mountain pass. And it breezed through knee-high thick mud and dirt!

#KwentongJeepney During my childhood, when we don’t have private vehicles yet, like vans, SUVs, our family would rent a jeepney that we could take on vacations every summer vacation. One of the usual places we go to are the hot spring resorts in Pansol, Laguna. 😊

Pretty sure a lot of Filipinos do this too.
