#KittenWatches It Follows (2014)

TLDR?

The tension built in It Follows is the kind you feel reflected in your suddenly noticeable heart beat, in the hairs raised on the back of your neck, and that tenseness is kept up as solidly as this monster keeps coming for Jay, our protagonist.

TLDR?

I'd only give ★★ if it wasn't for the redeeming factor of a really captivating performance by Betty Gilpin! She elevated this movie from a mediocre, uninsightful attempt at satire, to something pretty fun to watch!
