This illustrates the difference between translating (=keeping the correct meaning of ground floor) and using a dictionary to replace words without understanding the content. Neither the author nor the editor checked how floors are numbered in France, what a shame. 'premier étage' means 'the floor above the ground floor', not 'ground floor'. I wonder why they automatically assumed we number the floors like in the US.

Multiple speakers remembered Amerikannada, and specifically plaintively wished my parents could have used the tools available now, the tools that make indie publishing, in Kannada, so much more feasible without staggering work.

I know Truth Social is based on Mastodon. I know its main audience is English-speaking.
Still, I failed to anticipate the logical conclusion: when you view his profile in a different language, Trump literally toots.
The profile lists all of his “tutar” when accessed in Norwegian. They never updated or changed the localisation, of course.
