I read #LabGirl recently & wrote my thoughts. This didn't fit there, but was also a thought.

Some people only have dogs. Some people apply characteristics they see in these #animals to their humans. Love, loyalty, etc. It's a neat club.

As a child, I thought dogs were boys and cats were girls. I've seen adults actually assign dog owners as more masculine (and more acceptable)...

I appreciate the book as a whole despite my criticism. It was a surprising story; I got more than I bargained for. People are complicated. I guess that's good to remember in any situation......
