Given that anything #JeromePowell says is probably wrong, the way we measure and report unemployment is just wrong. I've been saying this since 2020. Any recent "labor shortage" begins with #COVID.

"Compared to pre-pandemic projections, there are around 3.5 million people effectively missing from the American workforce" due to the #Pandemic. A number of people who have had COVID were disabled by it, temporarily or permanently. #Employers must take note.
