Asking for a friend, well actually a daughter - is it legal in Ontario to force shift-work employees to clock out if they have completed their tasks but their scheduled shift is not complete?
If yes, damn labour laws have really gone downhill, but a follow-up question:
Is it legal for them to force you to clock out but still expect you to clock in again if something happens that requires you during your scheduled shift?
