I love #programming in #labview
Lets draw some code! We can add a nice little function over here by the river ...
I've just released a new open source #LabVIEW library called G-Unicode!
It has unicode replacements for string, file I/O, and user dialog VIs, plus unicode conversion, probes, QD shortcut constant editor, and lots of examples.

Testing out zoom in #LabVIEW 2023 Q3, and it features some interesting font rendering choices.
Wow, looks like the next release of #LabVIEW will include the ability to zoom!
Hi folks, I'm pleased to announce the G-Audio library for #LabVIEW has just received Microsoft Zune support!
Now you can easily sync music to your favorite media player using your favorite programming language!
A friend said Israel's #Technion university's whole IT and LAN infrastructure is under a #ransomware attack. His devices were apparently unaffected but he can't do his work because he relies on #matlab, #labview which requires license servers :harold:. I gently recommended to
1. give #Octave a go, or rewrite things in :python: :blobcatfingerguns:
2. start changing passwords and use a password manager.

V2 is being rebuilt with #rust at the core to be much faster and will have better support for recursive, cross-referencing models. I've been excited to learn more about the intersection of #python and rust, and the applications for self-describing data. One of my first #LabVIEW open source projects was a Variant Data Library (vipm.io/package/oglib_lvdata) that allow inspecting LabVIEW data and types dynamically. So, I'm very curious to learn more about how Python tools approach these use cases.
Today just learned a framework called #Textual from a @talkpython episode. Imagining similar things happening for #CircuitPython. Maybe a textual like thing on computer/browser remote into a CircuitPython device. That could release many possibilities. Reminds me a bit of #Labview, isn't it?

#LabVIEW based flight tracker is taking shape. It's integrated with my LV SimCity 2000 toolkit so I can get real-time flight info as I work. There's still a few minor bugs though...
Hmm, I wonder how difficult it would be to write a flight tracking app in #LabVIEW...
