2/2 So this is my calash #BobbinLace progress. This is made with white linen, which is quite stiff. I think it will be a nice trim for my wool cape that I'm working on as well (as much as I love a calash, I'm not up for that--and I need a cape).

So the plan is to make a couple of yards of this. I don't even know how much I need because I didn't finish the cape yet. I'm using the Burnley and Trowbridge short cloak pattern.

@restlesscurator @gabig58 OMG, the #Irish #lacemakers are wonderful. So actively maintaining their craft and sharing their stories. I heard a lecture on the Headford projects recently.

Maybe I can make the #American lacemakers jealous with this...
