I still can't find my little cheat sheet for the demo lace I'll be doing at Michigan Fiber Festival in 2 weeks, but I think I've worked out the two sections that I had on it. #BobbinLace #lacemaking

Re-aquainting myself with the #bobbinLace on my lace pillow so I don't have to fumble around figuring out what to do where at my August demo. Now if I could just find my little cheat sheet on how I was doing the little triangle ground units, that'd be great.

I saw a post about #lacemaking and thought I would share this #filetcrochet panel I made years ago; it was a small pencil drawing that a friend made of my daughter that I turned into a graph; I didn’t really think about how big it would be. It’s in my daughter’s home now. It was made with size 20 thread. #lace #crochet

I'm teaching myself #nalbinding today and somehow the knotting movement is reminding me of #lacemaking. I really want to get back into that--I need some more bookmarks. I think Mum is storing all my bobbins and pillows at her place with her supply though... that could be an issue, it's a 40m drive to get there.

Again, I'm turning to Ebay. I will buy half used embroidery stamp kits IDC at this point! (for the right price).

I will just use satin stitch to cover the cross stitch stamps. 😒

Even Herrschners is charging like $25 + shipping for a stamped table runner!

I know i am whining at this point but I need a project that I can procrastinate on my lacemaking with. xD Embroidery is perfect for that.

My latest journey has me looking for (sturdy) hand fans, that are inexpensive, but look nice enough. I want to make lace fans.

Yes I have looked everywhere. Respectable, sturdy ones are upwards of $25, not including shipping, from any given website.

I guess I can live with plastic. Looks like other lacemakers did. Am trying crocheted lace first.
