Interestingly, I can tolerate aged cheeses, and most cooked foods, that contain milk. I've always assumed that enough lactose is denatured by those processes to get by my "defenses".

I have IBS. It's triggered by many things. Due to the reaction I have to drinking non-lactase milk, I'm likely also lactose intolerant. I only ever use milk to wet cereal.

This morning I had a bowl of cereal for breakfast. The only milk in the house is regular (non-lactase) milk. That's okay, I'm only using it for cereal, right? Oh my, was I wrong. I've visited the restroom a half dozen times already as a result. 🤷‍♀️

Handmade from scratch, natch. And when Mom is gone, we traditionally do pizza bar for some reason

There's also a #sleepover with someone who is looking forward to pizza but "doesn't like cheese". (I assume this is code for #LactoseIntolerance)

I gotta think of a show/movie that will out-interest the kids in #Animaniacs. The "original" As are incredibly unfunny and even the kids just sit not laughing. Ages 15-22.

Hot tip for lactose intolerant ppl (NOT ppl with dairy allergies!):

Dairy products that naturally have 0g of sugar might work for you!

Check the nutrition label for 0g. Not <1, not nearly 0g. 0g.

I've been enjoying shredded cheese blends and alfredo sauce no problem, with no lactase, by following this! Game changer
