While driving home one afternoon, saw a log in the lake completely covered in Double-crested Cormorants, one holding its wings out. My brain oddly jumped to the caption "I said 6 feet!"

There's an osprey nest that's been in use for many years. I learned about it after I got my camera and asked the Park Ranger where some good spots to birdwatch were. Since then, I've tried stopping by a few times each year to get some pictures. Today was SUPER windy, so it was fun watching the one glide into land and then the "just spread wings and get pulled out of the nest" launch sequence.
