On #TodaysWalk (yesterday) the wild garlic is in bloom in #LaindonCommon woods. It brings some brightness to the ground, to liven it up, otherwise it is mainly dead leaves and almost dead brambles. Almost no bluebells in this wood.

The wood anemones are in bloom in #NorseyWood. This picture is from 4 April 2021 in #LaindonCommon woods (there are more there) because I had a camera failure today. These blooms precede the bluebells as each plant takes its time slot in the season. #TodaysWalk

No dogs today, so #TodaysWalk was more local (#LaindonCommon). I crossed the Crouch on FP 47, it is a babbling stream now. There's rarely this much water. It was nice to stop and watch the water for a while.
