I know I've shown this view a million times, but Maggie and I hiked up to the lake lookout. It's shocking how fast the lake is dropping. We've had almost zero inflow for all of the summer.

Maggie and I walked down to the #lake this morning. A beautiful and calmingway to start the day.

Although it is a bit concerning how fast the lake is drying up. Each one of those rings in the sand represents about a week of receding.

It was a warm but lovely morning for a hike to the lookout. With this record heat, we've been getting up earlier for our walks. Anything after 9:00 a.m. is already too hot.
