The latest taste of winter in the #Northland did not disappoint for the #SouthShore. They saw 6 to 10 inches.

Totals elsewhere ranged from 1 to 6 inches. That may seem below forecasted amounts, and one can thank warmer temperatures and lower moisture levels for this.

#Lakeeffect snow showers continue for the South Shore through Saturday. Everyone else can see clearing skies, with gusty winds and cool temperatures continuing.

Who doesn't like a loop of #lakeeffect snow bands coming ashore.

That is what happened along the south shore of Lake Superior, from the #TwinPorts to the Ashland area.

Snowfall reports include 12+ inches in the Ashland area, and around 6 inches near Superior.

More snow for everyone in the #Northland tonight and Thursday morning.

Where I live in Superior, we are seeing light snow from the band that has formed. It is falling heavier just a few miles south.

Meanwhile, the #AerialLiftBridge in Duluth has no snow, and even some sun shining.

So I moved from country life back to city life. There is a beautiful #FeralCat that comes in my yard. I think the former owner may have fed him/her? I put some #Thanksgiving chicken out in a pie tin by my front door 2 nights in a row. The cat ate it. I only know about #dogs. So what is a good food to provide a feral cat for a person living on a modest fixed income?
