A few inches from them so far in Douglas County.
This will be interesting to watch the next two days, and see how it impacts travel and snowfall totals.

So the #Northland is getting round one of this major winter storm system passing through the U.S. Tuesday night and Wednesday.
Impacts:
- Light snow showers south of Highway 2 overnight, leading to a couple inches.
- Lows overnight mostly below zero, with #windchills as low as -30Β°.
- Winds increase Wednesday, creating #lakeeffectsnow bands on South Shore and a couple inches.

We received a report of 4.6" of snow on the southwest side of Syracuse last night. We would greatly appreciate any additional snow measurements from the area in the circle where #lakeeffectsnow was most intense last night. Thanks!
