βπ»Blogged: @lakeFS has added support for displaying the diff between @deltalakeoss tables: https://lakefs.io/blog/lakefs-supports-delta-lake-diff/
I had fun writing this, particularly because it was a good excuse to learn a bit about Delta :)
I'm loving getting back into the world of πnotebooks too - such a great way to try stuff out, make notes, and share knowledge. The notebook that I used for the blog is available here: https://github.com/treeverse/lakeFS-samples/blob/main/09-delta-diff/lakeFS%20and%20Delta.ipynb

βοΈ As blog subjects go, security is not always an exciting one π΄. But I enjoyed writing this for the excuse that it gave me to see how **#lakeFS** worked for different types of users (and of course play around with **#DuckDB** some more π¦)
Check it out and let me know what you think: ππ»

2022 was the year of #change
As an industry, we shifted from fast pace growth to reserve and cautious.
We all experienced it in different shapes and forms.
Many of you chose to lean into #community work & help each other thrive.
I decided to sum it up with some numbers, fun happy moments and new #oss features we developed as a community.

π I've had a great time at Confluent, and learnt a huge amount from colleagues past and present
π‘ Now it's time for something newβI'm rather excited to be joining @adipolak's team at
#lakeFS in January. The challenge that #LakeFS solves is a fascinating one and I can't wait to get stuck in π

Excited for my upcoming course with OReilly on implementing CI/CD concepts in data lakes. 3 hours of #ApacheIceberg , #apache hudi, #DeltaLake , #lakeFS and adopting #dataengineering best practices. Its amazing how much more reliable and resilient our production system can become, once invested in the right tools and processes.
