Google photos reminded me it was 16 years ago today that we took my graduate student's need to measure diurnal cycles in a eutrophic #Ohio reservoir to make a lab party of it. #BBQ, campfire, and #guitars played a central role. #Plankton, water quality, and sonde measurements were done every 4 hrs over a 24hr period using my "Daphnia Tracker" research vessel. #Science can be fun too 😀. #OhioUniversity #LakeHope #aquaticecology #limnology
