Writing for 8 days and happy with progress - 19,227 words written.
I don't follow each chapter, instead I write as I think - all over the place (a butterfly panster) but it comes together at the end.
Originally book 5 was supposed to feature a different hero but instead this character kept demanding it be his book.
Who am I to ignore what he was shouting?
So he got book 5 and the other character (of which I'd already written 45k) has been moved to book 6..

I'm trying to resist the temptation to knit for a few days - I need to get back to writing.
I haven't written since my cancer diagnosis except for the edits on the last book.
I'm now determine to write the 5th book in the series and have it to my publisher by the end of the year.

My hand-dyed yarn from sallyridgway.com.au/ arrived last night. The blues are for the Venezia shawl while the others will be for two shawls that I'm still deciding what patterns (also need a few more complementary skeins). They're for my young granddaughters who are into pinks and apricots.
