The latest US #Drought Monitor shows an end to exceptional drought conditions across Central Missouri and significant upgrades south of the #LakeOfTheOzarks, but worsening conditions for much of Linn and Chariton counties in North Central #Missouri.

And this data is from before the onset of this massive #heatwave that has heat indices in excess of 110 across Northern Missouri.

Our 2hr trip to #LakeOfTheOzarks yesterday with Little Guy (diabetic kitty)was delightful. Weather was sunny and warm and he was perfect. We stopped for lunch at a restaurant on the lake, ate outside and LG joined us in his carrier. We then traveled to the 4BR house we rented with partial views of the lake, and began our much needed girl time!😜 LG has settled in nicely and slept with me, first time ever. Hope for nice sunsets pics to send later.
