Just been to see the Sophie Ryder exhibition at the Lakeside Arts Centre in Nottingham University. If you can catch it before it closes on Sunday 12th, I recommend it. Full of strange mythical beasts: minotaurs, hares, boars and greyhounds in tender conjunctions. The wire drawings and sculptures are superb.
