Great day road tripping over to the far side of Lake Taupo for a mountain bike ride. Our original plan of riding to the end of the Great Lake Trail Waihora section, a 34km return, was in such poor condition like unrideable in places and generally unfun we turned back after about 5km and rode some of the Waihaha section which was much better. Still a good ride with endorphins and fresh air acquired! #MTB #GreatLakeTrail #LakeTaupo
