I am *not* a fan of opera, but this version of the 'Duet of Flowers' from the opera Lakmé by Delibes is beyond beautiful. I doubt there has ever been a greater duet of two voices, so perfectly complementing each other. It is quite mesmerising. I used to associate this music with a British Airways advert from the 1980's. But here it is restored to its original purity. It is simply sublime. (Seen originally via #metafilter)
