Laleh is an Iranian born Swedish singer-songwriter & producer. She came to Sweden when she was 9 and grew up in Gothenburg. She produced and wrote her eponymous debut album in 2005. It netted her seven Grammis nominations and won her three: Artist, Producer, and New Artist of the Year. She has cited Cat Stevens, The Police, Kate Bush, ABBA as influences.

It is funny how you become a ”tourist in your own city” when visiting.
