Crab meat from Eridian B is a staple in every spacers kitchen. Not technically crab, it is the meat from a purpose bread giant scorpion, whose lineage goes back to the ones on cradle. IPS-N ships them in vacuum sealed containers that have parts in common with some of their flagship mechs.

Das Regelwerk hab ich schon zuhause stehen, aber bisher hab ich nur grob reingelesen, da ich eh noch keine Gruppe zum Spielen dafür habe. Würde das System vermutlich auch eher lieber mal Spielen als zu Leiten, aber das steht noch viel weiter in den Sternen.

@BardicInquiry And a third option which almost feels de rigueur at this point, if you really like the BITD-style mechanics of #Lancer but want to go with a more fiction-forward, narrative, focused RPG architecture, you can do giant robot storytelling in #Ironsworn: #Starforged, plus the book is beautiful and the mechanics are awesome.

A jet is a must have for every respecting aerospace force. Large spaceships are often too large to carry out inner atmosphere operations the same way a good jet can do.

"Coolest looking RPG product / book?"
I have picked up a number of RPG books in their limited, special editions purely because I wanted the art. I admit it. I'm not too proud.
But I have two answers for this because there's two aspects that I need to talk about:
Firstly, purely in terms of art and that art's quality is #Lancer. Beautiful. I would take any piece in that book and accept it as full-size portraiture. Any day of the week. Absolutely stunning.

How much do I get into character creation?
Well..
There's a low chance I'll get to play #Lancer anytime soon, but that didn't stop me from manually setting the colours for my pilot's call sign so it forms a gradient 😅
......and I'm probably buying the source material next paycheque so I'm better able to build/'flesh'out the #NHP she created.
