@GossiTheDog This is espechally a problem since #Accessibility for #MobilePhones is way worse than for #Landlines - and don't even get me started on #Touchscreens and #TTS!

Whereas I'm convinced most #blind people that use phones can dial emergency services on a regular Touchtone keypad and even abled people can do it...

I mean those boxes are like €50 and a desktop GSM phone is like €100 with battery for WEEKS (!!!) of standby and DAYS of calling time...

Maybe it's being away from home (I left the UK 20+ years ago) or maybe it is all the time I spent hiking on the moors with my late dad, but the #pennineway and #peakdistrict chapters are really affecting me (in a good way 😊).
