One of the most fantastic views I experienced when hiking Landmannalaugar - Þórsmörk was the Markarfljótsgljúfur canyon. Simply stunning and breath taking!
Funny that even on such a long hike, I managed to bring a DSLR camera with two lenses with me. I guess that was more than 2kg extra in my backpack.

A couple of times, I've been lucky enough to be working in #Fjallabak in winter. I've never been there in December, but in November 2019 #Landmannalaugar was looking like this with fresh #snow. I couldn't stay this year, but I do miss it sometimes (quite often).
