Play tested my #LangobardRPG last night with my brother @containerbuoy and nephew, went very well! The #ttrpg had a bit of a supernatural focus, inspired loosely by the early #medieval #LombardLaw of Rothari's on masca and striga (Nos 197-98 & 376), setting our intrepid pair to investigate a mysterious death! I think it went quite well!

Tested out a d10 adaption for the game engine, that I have to admit worked better than my usual d6 one and was more logical, and intuitive too! Great fun!

Hello! I'm a postdoctoral researcher focusing on the history of early #medieval #law and #lawbooks, both in terms of #codicology and #palaeography of the #manuscripts as well as #LegalHistory / #HistoryofLaw. I’m currently preparing a new project proposal focused on #poisoning in the #LegesBarbarorum.

I'm also an occasional #ttrpg player (usually as the GM), and am combining my interests by slowly producing a roleplay game based on the early medieval #Lombard laws, called #LangobardRPG.
