I saw in a recent Best Ever Food Review Show video* a dish popular in Laos that involves tiny live (yes, live) shrimp. There's seasonings and herbs & chilies still, but they're live and served that way.
I wanted to find out what the actual name of the dish was, and came across this page about a *very* similar dish done in Thailand: "Goong Ten"
Based on the accompaniments my thinking is "damn, this would be fire if, like... stir fried in a wok".
